Supporting Tasmania’s AFL future with approvals for a world-class sporting venue.

Launceston’s UTAS Stadium is northern Tasmania’s hub for major sporting events. It is the Tasmanian home base of the Hawthorn Football Club, and the Hobart Hurricanes’ northern stronghold.

Era was engaged to provide planning assistance for the major redevelopment of this stadium, which will result in significant improvements to seating capacity, and upgrades to the stadium’s lighting and facilities.

Construction is anticipated to finish in early 2027, when the new and improved UTAS Stadium will open to the public for a future of hosting sport and entertainment events.
