The Greater Glenorchy Plan is a 20 year vision that forms part of coordinated strategic planning efforts across Greater Hobart as part of the Hobart City Deal. Era lead the development of the plan on behalf of the Glenorchy City Council, working with Terroir and Playstreet to bring creative design thinking balanced by the practicalities of the local planning and development environment.

Building on the strategic potential of the municipality and urban renewal corridor which extends from Hobart through to the Northern Suburbs the plan features a set of strategic objectives, urban design principles and a precinct plan for each activity centre that promotes new development in each centres maximising use of underutilised land to create welcoming and vibrant hubs through increased density, new job opportunities and enhanced public spaces and community activation. Each precinct plan highlights and builds on notable differences of each centre. It is now being used to inform planning scheme changes as well as broader metropolitan and regional level strategic planning.
