Era was invited to present a stakeholder and community engagement masterclass at the 2025 Planning Institute of Australia (PIA) State Conference in Hobart. As Tasmanian leaders in engagement, we were excited at the opportunity to share our work with a new audience. The workshop was designed to introduce engagement principles to people from diverse working backgrounds in a digestible, interactive and informative session.

The masterclass ran for two hours, during which we provided an introduction to engagement, discussed some key Era case studies, and presented participants with their own tailored ‘engagement challenge’. Participants left the session with new learnings to take into their own professional practice.

• Developed training collateral for councils and other stakeholders who look to engage with community.

• Presented and facilitated an engaging, hands-on learning opportunity for professionals seeking to upskill their engagement capabilities.
