Grace Elliott is our most recent addition: a planner who combines her environmental studies and sustainable planning expertise to deliver efficient and outstanding outcomes for Era’s clients.

Grace’s work spans consulting and local government roles, with a focus on renewable energy, climate resilience and community engagement. She loves the opportunity to work on projects of diverse scale and type at Era.

Grace has quickly become an integral part of the team, managing and assisting with planning permit applications while also contributing to strategic projects. She is passionate about planning for places that are sustainable, liveable and accessible, recognising that sometimes it is the small projects that can have the biggest impact.

Grace has been recognised for her Master thesis on school-based urban greening for climate resilience, receiving the Tertiary Student Project award at the PIA Australian Awards for Planning Excellence. An active member of the local planning community, Grace currently serves as the Convenor of the Tasmanian Emerging Planners Committee and contributes to the future-readiness of the University of Tasmania’s course offerings as a member of its Planning Course Advisory Committee.
