Alex Hibberd is an environmental consultant with experience leading and supporting environmental impact assessment and approvals projects across a range of sectors in Tasmania. She has contributed to projects in transport infrastructure, mining, waste management, and renewable energy. She works with clients to identify environmental risks, opportunities, and regulatory requirements, supporting informed decision-making and successful project outcomes.
Highly organised and detail-oriented, Alex prepares a wide range of assessment documentation, including Environmental Impact Statements, Environmental Effects Reports, Reserve Activity Assessments, and EPBC Act referrals. Her broader experience includes environmental monitoring, contaminated land assessment and development of environmental management plans. This gives her a well-rounded perspective on the environmental challenges and requirements that projects face from early planning through to operation.
Growing up in south-east Tasmania, Alex developed a strong appreciation for the state's unique landscapes, communities, and sense of place.
